Colourpop Obsessed + What I’ve Been Loving Lately

Happy Friday everyone! I don’t know about ya’ll but I am so glad the weekend has begun. Your girl was in need of a strong post-work cocktail and a marathon of Shameless. I recently started watching it (I know I am late) and I cannot get enough. Po will be in tow this weekend, of course, as we head out to my boyfriend’s house tomorrow. This is the first weekend in a very long time that we have absolutely nothing planned except to play with our pups and play everything else by ear. Maybe a brunch is in order or a visit to an antique shop or two. Either way I can’t wait to relish in whatever this weekend brings. Without much more rambling, here are some of my favorite things I have been loving lately!

Shirt from Little Husky Shop on Etsy ($23): This shirt explains it all. When I stumbled upon this I knew I needed it in my closet. You can pick whichever color and font you want, too. Little Husky Shop did such a great job and it arrived so quick! Now Po and I can gossip and put on our RBF’s with a written warning to others.

Velvet Rose Chair from Amazon ($60): As if I needed yet another chair, I saw this and had to have it. Number 1. It’s rose colored. Number 2. It’s velvet. Number 3. Rose and velvet speak to the most inner parts of my soul. There is no better combo and look how perfect it looks next to my gold velvet couch! My boyfriend is rolling his eyes but this chair is perfection. You can find a similar one here!

Pug Hand Towel Set from Lydia and Pugs on Etsy ($25): First of all, if you are pug obsessed like me, you must go check out Lydia and Pugs on Etsy or their website. Everything they make is so fucking cute and original. I bought my mom a set of these towels for Christmas and I had to have some too. Were a pug family, okay? I messaged the owner and asked if she had any “blush floral fabric” available for the embroidery and right away she sent me multiple swatches to choose from. I loved how they turned out and they fit right in with my pink bathroom!

Bourjois Healthy Mix Serum in Beige Clair ($16): This is the only foundation that matters. I have extremely dry skin so the formula of this is perfect for me. It’s lightweight, hydrating, luminous and long-lasting. It provides such a lovely natural finish. This is my second bottle of this stuff and I will probably keep repurchasing until the end of time. They sell this overseas but I get mine off Amazon!

Ladyganics Youth Equalizing Toner ($18): This stuff is so magical. Not only is this toner organic, but it smells so fresh and really balances out my skin. I spray this on my face when I am fresh out of the shower and it is extremely cooling, refreshing and doesn’t leave my skin tight or dry. Plus, the glass packaging is so sleek and pretty. I have been alternating between this and my tried and true Mario Badescu facial spray and this Youth toner is right on par.

Shades: 1. Wake Up Call; 2. Let Me Explain; 3. Ready or Yacht; 4. UF-Woah; 5. Snake Eyes

Colourpop Pressed Eyeshadows ($4 each): So I went a little crazy on the Colourpop this month but honestly, nobody does affordable, beautiful makeup in cute AF packaging like they do. I own some of their pressed eyeshadows already and they are dynamite. Of course I needed more, more, more. Did I really need more neutral tones and shimmery shades though? Not at all. But those type of colors just call to me and I happily give in every time! These shadows blend out effortlessly and are so pigmented. At $4 a pop too, like, “Okay…I see what you’re putting down!”

Colourpop Supernova Shadow in ‘UF-Woah’ ($7): Don’t judge me. I bought another eyeshadow. But this one is metallic and rose. I told ya’ll I have an obsession with rose. Metallic eyeshadows are also a weakness so when I saw these Supernova shadows I about died. This color is gorgeous and so freakin’ pigmented! How could I not?

Colourpop Pressed Powder Blush in ‘Weirdough’ ($7): I had never tried their pressed powder blushes before but when I saw the price and this shade, into the cart it went. I am a sucker for nudey pinky blushes especially if they are matte. This blush glides on beautifully and looks so natural on the skin. This will quickly become a staple in my makeup routine!

Colourpop No Filter Concealer in Light Neutral ($6): I will admit, I  bought this solely because KathleenLights and Jaclyn Hill recommended it on YouTube. Those bitches know what’s up. However, concealer is not something I get excited about like I do rose and neutral tone eyeshadows and blushes. At $6 though I figured I would try. Holy crap this stuff is amazing! It’s lightweight under the eyes and doesn’t leave my skin crepe-y whatsoever.

Colourpop Lux Lipstick in ‘Appy’ ($7): Can we talk about this packaging? Gold and stunning and…lux!  I was anxiously awaiting for these to come back in stock before I completed my purchase and they finally returned! I opted for a nude shade because my name is Rachel Graham. This is the ideal everyday shade for me. 100% in love with this!

I hope you enjoyed the things I’ve been loving! Have a great weekend and an even greater glass of wine.

  1. Oh my goodness! I had no idea ColourPop even made lipsticks in that tube shape (I’m so out of the loop), but it looks gorgeous! Also, I too have been late on the Shameless train, but it’s awesome!
