Cranberry Apple Moscow Mules

Autumn is right around the corner. That means cozy sweaters, the best candle scents from Bath and Body Works and plenty of tailgate cocktails for game day! There is so much I love about this time of year, but football season has to be the best part. Read on to see how to whip up some quick and scrumptious Moscow Mules with a twist!

A Moscow Mule is one of my favorite cocktails. They are simple and refreshing. Not to mention, the mugs are undeniably aesthetically pleasing. I decided to change up the traditional recipe to add in some autumnal flavors.

Cranberry Apple Moscow Mules

24 ounces of ginger beer

1 bottle of sparkling cranberry apple juice

4-5 sprigs of fresh mint

3 limes for juice and garnish

The best part about a Moscow Mule is the fresh mint and lime juice. Muddle 2-3 fresh mint leaves, 1-2 shots of vodka (I use Tito’s), and about 1/4 cup of lime juice in each mug. The muddling really helps release the flavor of the mint.

Fill each mug with ice and pour in the sparkling cranberry apple juice until each mug is about 3/4 full. Top off each mule with ginger beer and garnish with a lime wedge!

Perfect for mixing up quickly in the trunk of your car at the tailgate! What is your favorite tailgate drink? Let me know in the comments below and, of course…

Go Noles!
